About Me

My name is Elizabeth Sorrell. I will be beginning my 12th year as a 1st grade teacher this year. I love 1st grade!  Children go through so many changes between age 6 and 7 and I love watching that transformation during the 1st grade year. I live and teach in Lumberton, Texas. I have a son and daughter both in college and my precious dogs Reilly, Lexie, and Tucker. I have been happily married for 22 years. I look forward to connecting with other teachers and sharing ideas through this blog.
